MasterCard Debit Card

The MasterCard Debit Card is your easy solution to accessing cash combined with the purchase power of MasterCard accepted worldwide!

Transaction Options:
There are three ways to use your MasterCard Debit Card to access your account:

  • You can access cash through the Automate Teller Machine (ATM)
  • You can use it at any store or merchant that accepts the card, select the “credit” option and sign for your transaction
  • You can use it at any store or merchant that accepts the card, select the “debit” option and use your Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your transaction

Cash Access:
You can access cash 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through any CU Anytime, CO-OP, Pulse or Plus System machines. The limit for accessing cash through your account is $200 per day.

Point of Sale Transactions:
You can use your MasterCard Debit Card anywhere MasterCard is accepted! When paying for your purchase you may have the option of selecting “credit” or “debit” for how the transaction is processed. By selecting “credit” you will sign for the transaction; by selecting “debit” you will enter your PIN number for the transaction. No matter which option you choose the funds will automatically be deducted from your checking account, and your limit is up to $500 a day when using the card as a “credit” transaction.

Safeguarding your MasterCard Debit Card:
You will need a 4 digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to access cash and perform “debit” transactions. You have the option of changing your PIN number at any CUAnytime machine. Select a number that is easy to remember but no obvious to anyone else. Never reveal your PIN number to anyone else, never write it on your card and never carry your PIN in your wallet or purse. Also, in case your card is lost or stolen there is a zero liability through MasterCard if the card is fraudulently used through “credit” transactions.
